Description: Large Dial South Bend 10K Compound. This has been rebuilt: New feed screw and brass nut; sliding surfaces on the base were machined with a dovetail cutter for a good tight fit with the slide; gouges have been brazed with phosphor bronze and machined back very close to original dimensions. The assembly has about .005" backlash. The graduated dial has a lot of hammer tracks but is useable. This will also fit a South Bend 9; but is about .400" higher.
