Presenting to you a very VERY rare and vintage (~1950’s) model (so called Le Coultre UFO), in solid 10K gold (filled) case. The current unpolished untampered condition of the watch is considered VERY unique, leaving acceptable and actually desirable minor signs of antiquity ! This LeCoultre Gold 10K wristwatch is a rare vintage piece from the 1950s, featuring a fixed gold bezel and a two-piece leather strap. The watch has a round gold-filled case with a solid caseback and arrow, stick, and champagne indices. It also includes a date indicator, self-winding movement, and a Swiss-made design. Notice that the case (10 carafes gold) was actually made in the USA. Following the 2nd world war, most of the gold business was pivoted into the US. Therefore, even Swiss watchmakers used gold cases imported from the US back then. That’s why you see an engraving of the typical statement “CASED AND TIMED IN USA” on the inside of the gold case (see photos). The watch is handmade and has 17 jewels, with a beige, ivory, and champagne dial color. It is a luxury, dress/formal, casual, and classic style watch, suitable for men. The watch is Swiss-made and has a 35mm case size, featuring a buckle closure and a vintage design.
