Description: Limoges Jean Pouyat Green Floral And Gold Ramekin With Underplate. Very pretty Limoges ramekin with underplate. On a white ground decorated with a green floral transfer . Banded at the rim in bright gold gilt overlaid with a black bell flower type design. This decoration is repeated on both pieces. Gold trims the rims of both pieces. Each piece is marked on the reverse in green J.P. over L, France, this mark was used from 1891-1932. Under the plate also J. Pouyat Limoges in gold inside of a wreath , and in red Made Expressly For Bailey Banks And Biddle Co. Great collector piece. Displays beautifully. All measurements are approximate: Ramekin measures 3 5/8" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall.Underplate measures 5" in diameter. Very good antique vintage condition to commensurate with age and use. No cracks, chips or repairs. There are 2 tiny black marks on the inside of the ramekin, see last photo. Please remember this is a no return.Questions are welcome.Thank you for looking.
