Description: This used 10 Malayan dollar note is an occupation banknote issued by the Japanese Government for Malaya. It is a blue-green and yellow note that measures 159 mm x 77 mm. Its obverse side features trees with bananas, pineapples, paw-paws, and coconuts. Its reverse side shows palm trees and a steam ship at sea. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark with a pattern and a serial number. The note was demonetized in 1945.
