Description: Maton M225 Acoustic Flat Top Hollow Body Guitar - Made In Australia A nice second hand Maton M225. As far as we are aware, this unit was built in December, 1998. The serial number is 5387 (1298) if you'd like to do your own research. This is a really nice sounding piece. It is lovely to play. Condition:This is a used guitar. Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age like some marks, small dents and scratches. The bridge has been modified in the past to lower the action. A strap pin has also been put into the bottom of the guitar. There is nothing which detracts from the use or sound of this guitar. Please see all photos for further details. This guitar has been tested. It is fully functional and sounds great! The intonation has been checked. The frets are high and smooth. There are no faults to note. This guitar has had a minor service. This included: Cleaning the neck, buffed and polished frets. Pickup height adjusted. String height adjusted. Brand new D'Addario acoustic guitar strings, phosphor bronze coated 12-53 have been installed. For safety during shipping, tension will be taken off the neck. The guitar will need to be tuned on arrival. Please note that although we have tested the intonation and set up the guitar here, due to the nature of guitars as well as the shipping and handling process there is a chance you will need to set up the guitar again. The set up may need to be modified to suit your personal preferences. Guitars picked up from our West Gosford store will set up ready to play!
