Description: For sale is my MIM Classic 60's Jazz bass. I've owned it for two years and bought it used. I purchased it sight unseen and found the truss rod to be maxed. Strings were Chrome flats, which are high tension. Action was too high for me. I changed strings to my usual Sunbeams and was able to get better playability and adjust the neck a bit. I have added 2 washers and can adjust the neck now. However, high tension strings won't be a good match for this bass as the rod will max again with about a full turn. There is a repaired chuck out of the bottom back. There is a broken piece of poly finish at the neck heal. I thought about filling it but it just never really bothered me with the pickguard on. There are some nicks in the headstock. The bass is beautiful and sounds wonderful. It plays nicely with the Sunbeams or even lower tension strings. Had TI flats on it for a while too. I'm just needing to down size a bit. Take a look at the pictures and ask me any questions. I do not know the weight but it is not light. I'd say weight is moderate. Probably like other Classic 60's. I can try to weigh it if absolutely necessary. My other J is lighter, so I play it more. Thank you.
