Description: About A beautiful vintage 1960s art glass vase, a pure product of Bohemian glass making tradition. A handmade design by Josef Hospodka and made at the Chribska glass works in Czechoslovakia. Excellent design combining modern and bright colors into a very elegant and strong piece. In excellent condition. The Chribska glassworks, full name Sklarna Chribska, was founded in the early 15th century, and stayed in production until very recently. In 1882 it was bought by the Mayer family. Chribska became part of the Borske Sklo National Corporation during the 1950s. Chief designer at this time was Josef Hospodka, who specialized in sculptural blown glass designs.
