Description: A set of sparkling Hungarian crystal hock glasses. These wine glasses are 24 percent lead crystal, cut to clear crystal in the 'Mertise' pattern of grapes and grape leaves. They are made specifically for German wines made from Riesling grapes, wines from the Rhine region of Germany, or aperitifs. Includes six glasses in sapphire blue, emerald green, amethyst purple, ruby red, cranberry red and amber yellow. Beautiful and delicate with textured cut stems on a petal base. Measures approximately 2" in diameter by 5" high. in excellent used condition. All are like new with the exception of the cranberry red one - it has a small chip on the base (see last photo).
