Description: RABBIT EFFIGY PIPE. Rabbit or Hare effigy pipe (approx 8 3/4" long, 1 3/8" wide, 3 1/8" tall) Very detailed pipe. Pipe is made of a hard black stone, with fine polish and wear overall. Heavy age patina. A fantastic old Indian pipe and is even nicer in hand than the pictures do justice. I took pics inside and outside in sunlight to show all detail. The pipe is solid and only has some minor ancient chipping near the stem hole. There is a vein running thru the material on one side, that is not a crack. Has old museum label. This is a fantastic pipe. I hate to part with this one. The new owner will cherish this fine piece. Shipping will be via Priority mail and it will be VERY well packed for shipping.
