Description: 1978 Cessna 172 Skyhawk Pilot's Operating Handbook 172N D1109-1-13 Printed 8/81 per the title page. This sound factory POH is still in very good condition. The cover is mostly very clean and nice and shiny and unabused, however, there is a small little stain at the top right corner of the front cover, and a more respectable stain at the top left corner that wraps around and is larger still on the back. The top edge of the first couple of pages, and the top edge of the rear cover and last few pages, have been nibbled upon just a bit by critters. The cover remains very well attached by rusty staples. There is light patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. That is it. The book is absolutely pristine inside, as in, there is no writing or markings, no highlighting, no torn(just nibbled a bit) or loose or missing pages. The corners are sharp as new, and the book lays flat as new. See the photos. Sure, it's stained a bit and nibbled upon, but it is very sound and complete and not marked at all. It likely just sat up on the shelf all these years. It's 43 years young, and waiting to go. Always check for revisions, supplements, and updates with vintage manuals. If your old '78 Skyhawk book looks like crap, buy this one. The book will be securely packaged and properly labelled. It will be placed in a plastic sleeve to help protect it from moisture, and then placed in a rigid envelope stamped with "Do Not Bend" to help protect it from the USPS.
