NOS Tecumseh TVS90-43234G Vertical Shaft Engine White VINTAGE NEW OLD STOCK

Description: New in original box, White 3.5HP Tecumseh TVS90-43234G Vertical Shaft Engine, brand new, engine turns freely and smoothly, shaft is keyed and threaded 7/8” diameter by 2” long, photos shown are actual engine for sale, serial # 1094A, comes with original carburetor already mounted at the factory as shown, but no exhaust/muffler was provided by Tecumseh UPDATE: Some folks have suggested to me that this engine was used on some Toro walk behind mowers with mufflers that go through or are built into the deck. SECOND UPDATE: I have been told (but cannot confirm) that this engine was built in 1991 as a service replacement engine for 60s and 70s Toro Whirlwind mowers and possibly other Toro mowers with exhaust through the deck. PLEASE NOTE: Instead of the exhaust port being on the side of the engine right under the intake port like other TVS90s and many other small frame vertical shaft Tecumsehs, the exhaust port is on the BOTTOM facing down. Please be aware, exhaust/muffler may not clear your deck if you are wanting to use it on a mower that does not have a hole for the exhaust. I’m not certain what applications called for this non-standard configuration. Please see photos. Will carefully pack box with additional packing materials and ship in original box. This is a great lightweight engine at less than 19lbs, AND it has an oil pump which means it will outlive many other oil splash lubricated motors.
