Description: This offering is for an early 19th century folk art hand painted tin tray. The painted decoration is wonderful depicting a floral spay with a yellow swagged border. The tray is octagonal and measures app. 6.5" by 8.5" and the condition is very nice with typical light wear, crazing and losses. There are also a few spots in the black background that look like they may have been in painted years ago. If so they blend in very well at this point. As noted, there is minor loss to the painted decorations but there are no dents, bends or rust. The decoration is bold and lively giving the tray a charming appeal. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 10.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
