Extremely clear image. I apologize for the reflected light/camera in my scans, obviously not part of the actual photo itself, which is particularly clear and flawless. Simple brass mat type as shown, typical of the decade prior to1850. This dag has outstanding quality. Typical seated antebellum pose and appearance. She is leaning on a side table, which is covered by a fancy table cloth and books. She also has a necklace and pin on her collar. In its original leather case, with nice impressed design. HINGE IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO REPAIRS. STILL THE ORIGINAL CASE THAT THE PHOTO HAS BEEN IN FOR 180 LONG YEARS!!!
