Description: Here is a pair of lovely, antique Japanese porcelain 'Seto' ware tea cups with hand-decorated flow blue designs, and slightly crenelated sides.These Seto ware pieces are usually decorated with transfer printed designs, which makes this hand-painted pair rarer and older.They date from the last quarter of the 19th century.They each measure 2- 1/4 inches deep, by 3 inches in diameter, with a 1- 5/8ths inch foot ring. These two cups are in excellent, used antique, condition with no chips, cracks, or other damage, or repairs. They are clean and bright with minimal surface wear! (See photos).
