Description: parma1223fx8jds45 This is a nice vintage, Tall Round Embossed Quart (TREQ) milk bottle, embossed in slug plate: PURE MILK / H.B. JILLSON / CREAM. Embossed on heel: TMC (stands for Thatcher Manufacturing Co.). Embossed on base with date code for 1925. This dairy was located in Perry, New York. In the March 31, 1943 "Perry Herald", it is reported that the "Town Board Votes to buy Jillson Farm for Gravel Pit". Nice small town New York milk bottle. Perry is a town in Wyoming County, New York, United States. The population was 5,813 at the 2020 census. The town is named after Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry. The town is styled "home of the Silver Lake Sea Serpent" after a sea serpent sighting, possibly a hoax, in 1855. The serpent is celebrated by images throughout the town and previously by a summer festival. An artificial serpent was placed by Silver Lake in 2016.[ Condition: Very Good, just a couple teeny fleabites on the lip, minor, see close up picture above. NO other chips, cracks or dings. Has some light wear form use. I grade this one an 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
