Description: ****** PRICE is $25 ****** These are two Kachina-style locker room nameplates made for Phoenix Coyotes forward Jean-Guy Trudel, who played one game for the team in the 1999-2000 season and three games in the 2001-02 season but mainly was with their AHL affiliate in Springfield, Mass. Trudel wore #62 in 1999-2000 and #31 in 2001-02 (see photo of Phoenix's 2001-02 preseason media guide showing Trudel in the veterans' camp and issued #31). He had zero career points but has the distinction of being the last forward to wear #31 as Coyotes goalies took it over starting with Curtis Joseph in 2005. The Coyotes used these nameplates for home and road games and their practice rink. They are made of bendable plastic and are 12 inches long by 2 inches wide with the team logo sprayed on and the player's name and jersey number on white stickers. (The "D" in Trudel's #31 nameplate was applied slightly crooked). The backsides are blank. Trudel's full-name nameplate has the MISSION HOCKEY sponsor logo on the far righthand side. These nameplates came from a bulk buy of 1,000-plus locker room nameplates that the Coyotes used from their first season in Arizona in 1996 up through the 2016-17 NHL season. Trudel's only other NHL experience came in one game with the Minnesota Wild in 2002-03 before he played pro hockey in Europe until 2010 and then got into coaching.
