Description: Hi! I have 13 varieties of Decorative and Ball Dahlia clumps available for your garden or fresh cut flower venture! I currently operate a u-pick flower farm and in order to save some money on my new dahlia field I ordered a bunch of varieties wholesale from Ball Horticulture. I don't need 25 of each variety for my u-pick so I am selling what I don't need here on Ebay to help off set the initial cost. These varieties make excellent cut flowers for either your own enjoyment or for those of you who would like to add them to your own flower farm. They are all beautiful with nice long stems to work with! These varieties rage in height from 3-5 feet and have blooms the size of 2-5 inches. They love full sun and should be planted after danger of frost. They like regular watering and are very hungry plants. Weekly foliar feeding of fish/seaweed fertilizer is a great option along with well amended soil. For bushier plants with more blooms pinch your plant when it is 8-12 inches tall, and cut deep for longer stronger stems and more blooms! Slugs and snails love munching on dahlias, so please protect your young plant as it establishes itself. If you plan to dig up your clumps in the fall plant your dahlia 2 inches below the soil line. If you plan to over winter your dahlias please plant them 5 inches below the soil line. I will be shipping the second week of March for those of you in climates that are not freezing and weekly there after as each area of the US warms up. Please understand that these are not grown on my farm and that they are from the wholesaler and sold as a clump and not an individual tuber. I will be sure to send what visually looks like a healthy clump without broken necks. The pictures above are from the Ball Horticulture website.
