(Damp wrapped) Ipomoea carnea, the pink morning glory, is a perennial species of morning glory that grows as a bush or shaped into a small tree. This flowering plant has heart-shaped leaves that are a rich green and long.The flowers are larger than most morning glory vines, and they last all day too, which is a bonus especially in the heat. It does great in pots, is super drought hardy, flowers pretty much constantly, the bees love it as it produces heaps of nectar, and it isn’t weedy like its relatives can be. The plant can grow 6-8 feet tall in just one season. In Brazil, I. carnea is known as canudo-de-pito, literally "pipe-cane", as its hollow stems were used to make tubes for tobacco pipes. It thus became the namesake of Canudos. The stem of I. carnea can also be used for making paper. The plant is also of medicinal value. Perennial in zones 8b-11b. Your Business is appreciated!
