Description: 1979 Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Houston Oilers Ticket Stub (AFC Championship-Three Rivers Stadium) Up for 'BUY IT NOW' is a rare original ticket stub from the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Houston Oilers AFC Championship NFL game which took place at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh, PA back on January 7, 1979. The Steelers finished the 1978 regular season with an NFL best 14-2 record while the Oilers finished at 10-6. Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier, Lynn Swann, and John Stallworth all scored touchdowns and the Steelers blew out the Oilers by a score of 34-5 on a rain and ice-soaked Three Rivers Stadium turf. The Steelers would then go on to defeat Dallas in Super Bowl XIII two weeks later. Not accepting offers on this item.
