Description: Customized seed plates for the Planet Juniour seeder 300 and 300A. Having run a commercial garden for 20 years, and planting mostly everything with the simple and durable planet juniour seeder, I have combined all the most commonly used hole sizes into 1 disk and had it custom designed and 3D printed with a durable, flexible PLA plastic. I’ve used these seed plates for the past 4 seasons with no issues, with excellent results, and good germination. Sale includes a 2 plate set. First plate will be your most commonly used plate, and the second plate has 13 different hole sizes that are handy to have but not very commonly used. The second plate has the numbers written by their hole and are sometimes needed when you run into a certain type of seed that needs a more precise opening, as sometimes you run into seeds that can be smaller or larger then normal. First Plate #1 Carrot seeds (also works for onion seeds if you prefer to go with non palletted onion seeds) #3 Radish #5 Lettuce and Parsely Seeds #7 very tiny seeds like poppies or wildflowers #18 Parsnips #19 Beets (Beets tend to come in a few different seed sizes which is why the second plate comes in handy, but I have found that with germination and spacing the #19 has worked best) #22 this is the best hole for pelleted seeds. Common pelleted seeds are lettuce, Carrots, brassica, and onions. #24 Dill seeds #25 Spinach #29 Corn Seed and Beans #30 Peas (this number sows peas thick. Sowing peas thick gives you a good yield and a nice wall of peas.) #31 Larger corn seeds, especially your main season super sweet varieties that have larger kernels. #33 cucumber seeds. 2nd plate has 13 different hole sizes all marked with their numbers. They are the same sizes as found on planet junior’s original seed plates. Can be useful for Melons and squash seeds, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage seeds, etc. if you prefer to go the direct seeding route instead of transplants.
