Description: Prototype Kodak Master 8X10 camera + 300mm lens + Holders + Fresnel #5242Unique, one of a kind prototype Kodak Master View 8X10 camera. Made almost entirely of magnesium, these were originally painted in a light brown crinkle finish enamel paint. This camera appears to have been custom made with no factory paint and was left in its pure magnesium finish. This camera has been further modified to accept standard and commonly found Sinar lensboards, instead of the rare and and flimsy Kodak Master boards. This modification also includes a stiffening of the front standard with a custom made front panel centering (removable), that allows for more accurate shooting as the front standard is always aligned with its uprights.The bellows was replaced by Custom Bellows UK a few years ago and is in excellent condition.
