The base consists of a 1" B size rubber ball connected to a 2.43" x 1.31" diamond plate. The diamond plate features two holes that measure 1.912" from center to center, matching the industry-standard AMPS hole pattern. (See exact specs in one of the photos.) I can also swap the diamond base for the RAM round base if you like - no change in price, send a note when you make the purchase. The RAM ball and socket system allows for articulation at both ends of the double socket arm creating almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The included RAM® MagSafe Adapter is designed specifically to fit the official Apple MagSafe Charger with the added benefit of RAM® Mounts compatibility. The adapter allows a perfect and secure fit for the MagSafe's charging disk. The MagSafe charger is NOT included. (Neither is the phone, nor the hot sports car in some of the pictures.) This product is proudly made here in the US, and comes with a lifetime limited factory warranty.
