Description: Aynsley Bone China Early 1900’s VERY RARE Midnight Blue Exterior w/colorful Crocus Interior , the floral view to be enjoyed when drinking your tea. Only then does it look like a normal flower bouquet. Very unusual and special way to view the interior details. It has a very Art Deco design and feel to it, starting with the deep yellow gilded band at the edges, so daintily designed with a diamond and dots pattern. Then is a 1/2” layer of “suggested” grass lawn, in a lovely green and white speckling. Then followed by a layer band of crocuses in rich shades of Pink, Blue, and Yellow ….with a layered row of Blue and Yellow with Lavender Irises….all in a delicate row as the Trim. It’s all been designed that when one sips their tea, you are able to enjoy this beautiful Garden of Crocus and Flowers. Simply lovely!! This is one of the most unique, unusual, special, delicate, dainty and gorgeous cups ever! The Saucer is white with a 1 1/2” band of the Midnight Blue followed by a gold band of leaves, all edges having a gilded finish. Really beautiful. This is a most special tea cup and saucer with the lovely Crocuses, and is extremely RARE….havent been able to find another. It’s simply exquisite!
