Rare WENZELL’S PHARMACY purple manganese medicine bottle ca. 1861 to 1867

Description: I believe this bottle can be attributed to William Theodore Wenzell, President of the University of California College of Pharmacy from 1872-1878. According to their website, Wenzell owned his own pharmacy in La Crosse, Wisconsin from 1861 to 1867. I could not find another Wenzell who owned a pharmacy. The bottle has a manganese purple tint. It has embossed "Wenzell’s" on the top and "Pharmacy" on the bottom. A mortar and pestle is in the center and says Howe Co. It is square and 4” tall, and the bottom measures 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”. There is a chip on the lip. Have fun browsing my store, Terry's Trash to Treasure, for other unique and interesting items. If you find something else to buy, please request an invoice and wait to pay until I combine the shipping price. This will save you $$ and we all like that! If you pay right away, I will refund you the difference.
