Description: This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted and featuring the Spencer Penrose Stadium and Ice Palace at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Originally built in 1938, and named the Will Rogers Stadium, it was renamed for Penrose after he died in 1939. Hosted the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, started by Penrose until 1973. In 1975, Penrose Stadium was demolished. Postcard circa 1940s Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases and bent corners. See pics for details and conditions.
