SIMON & GARFUNKEL-SOUNDS OF SILENCE-Tiger Beat Cover Vinyl VG+/VG++ LP!

Description: Hi! You're looking at a great condition vinyl LP which is a very early 1966 pressing (with the "Tiger Beat" magazine visible in Garfunkel's coat pocket and left hand in the photographs on the back cover) of the classic second album by SIMON AND GARFUNKEL titled "Sounds of Silence"--the record features the title song, "Richard Cory," "I Am a Rock," "Kathy's Song," and others. The LP is an early 1966 pressing on the Columbia Records label with the serial number CS 9269; it's a Stereo issue and was made in the United States. This LP is in great condition and the vinyl is in VG+ overall condition and should play very well, with some slight hairline marks, some moderate scuffs and a number of light paper scuffs that may possibly produce a few light and intermittent tics and pops in a couple of spots and possibly a bit of light background noise in a couple of places (side one is in VG++ condition with fewer marks); the cover is in VG++ condition with a partial split on the lower spine edge, a 1/2 inch split on the lower left edge, tiny initials on the upper right tip of the back surface and just light shelfwear otherwise but no other significant flaws--it's NOT a cutout! The gray-colored original inner sleeve is also included.
