Description: For sale is this 1931 Rotunda yearbook of Southern Methodist University located in Dallas, Texas. It is the midst of the depression and Prohibition had not been repealed. But, life went on. Art Deco was the style rage. As ever (at least in Texas) sports, i.e. football, was essential. So were the campus beauties. (my teacher did not look like this in the 1960s!). The ads are really fun. Hotels at $2.00 to $$2.50 a night. And, wow, some even came with a bath. For long term Dallasites, Highland Park Pharmacy, Knox Street, The Pig Stand Pig Sandwich and the Adolphus Hotel are all featured. Buy this to have a piece of Dallas and college history.
