Description: Holland America Line - A special turtle soup cup and saucer created for the ROTTERDAM of 1959. Both the 3" diameter cup and 5.75" diameter saucer feature a gold turtle. Both are back-marked with the name of Dutch china manufacturer Mosa. The line name does not appear on either piece. The attached photo sows the First Class Dining Room of the ROTTERDAM. There is a small chip on the saucer rim, otherwise very good condition.
