Designed as a folder for heavy use by Glasser Hall - owner of Spyderco. Massive handle allows the knife to be used with gloves and by people with large hands. Reinforced fully demountable bolted construction torx makes it easy to clean and adjust the folder. Manufactured at the Spyderco factory in the USA (Golden, Colorado). Head - laser-cut with a modified profile Clip Point, thickness 3.7 mm. Made of American stainless steel CPM S30V (corrosion resistant to withstand mechanical stress) covered with matte non-reflective coating DLC (Diamond Like Coating) in color black. Blade hardened in the range 58-59 HRC. Smooth blade type Plain brought out full flat grind (Full Flat Grind) increasing the cutting properties and reducing the weight of the knife. Enlarged 14 mm round cutout SpyderHole (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with a glove. Corrugated ramp under the thumb and Finger Choil (profiled undercut for the index finger between the handle and the cutting edge) increase control of the knife. Improved head lock Liner-Lock. Handle - covered with non-slip textured facings in digital camouflage (Digital camouflage) made of plastic G-10 (durable, resistant to high and low temperatures, chemicals). The folder is equipped with a bolt-on torx single-position clip that allows the knife to be carried in position tip-down (tip down). In the rear part of the grip, an enlarged opening (lanyard hole) for pulling a leash or safety line.
