Description: This is a rare and beautiful garniture consisting of a 17” high French faience handpainted clock with matching 13” high pair of vases. They are unsigned but have been identified as having been made by Gien circa the late 19th century. As you can see they are elegantly painted with pink roses, sprays of posies and little beetles. The clock comes with the original pendulum and a windup key which works fine. The faience clock and the vases are in excellent condition without chips, cracks or damage of any kind. The clock movement seems to work but I have not had it checked by a clock expert so am selling it as is. Very special!
