Twice signed by Barker, once on the title page, and once below an inscription on prelim page. Pasted onto the prior page is a newspaper article about Barker. Twelve photo illustrations plus a beautiful full color fold out chart of the route and noon positions of the ship "British Isles" on a Voyage to Pisagua, Chile, from Port Talbot, Wales, in 1905. This book was written aboard the Tusitala, one of the last squareriggers in the American and English registries. White cloth boards stamped with green and gilt ship and lettering. Wood grain-style EPs. Cover with dust marks and general darkening, as well as light rubbing. Internally quite clean. Near fine condition. The book is exactly as shown. Any questions, please ask.
