Description: I am a retired priest/professor and I’m looking for a good home for the books I’ve collected over the years. This is a book that was given to me by an older priest many years ago. This is a hardcover book with a paper, dust jacket. The binding and pages are in good shape along with the dust jacket, which has no tears, there are signs of of the paper. Unfortunately, the previous priest decided to highlight a couple of the sermons in an annoying color pen. Please see the pictures for examples. Fortunately, he only liked two of the sermons so they annoying highlighting is primarily in the chapter on the resurrection and the triumph entry. The other chapters are clean and neat and ready for you to read without interruption. Cording to the author, “the story of Jesus as it appears in this book I told first to my congregation at Trinity Church Boston on the Sunday mornings in lent. I wanted to tell once again because I found so many adults who had only his children and we’re trying to nurture their adult life on food that was prepared for infants.” Here is your chance to hear from one of the prominent American preachers of the mid 20th century. It’s amazing what some of these older fellows have to teach us today.
