Two 3" Antique Meissen Porcelain Playing Tumbling Cherub Baby Angel Figurines

Description: This beautiful pair of rare antique Meissen porcelain figurines features two tumbling or playing cherubs, hand-painted with exquisite detail on cherubs that are sure to add a touch of whimsy to any collection. These figurines are finely crafted and have a great captured movement to them. The cherub doing a hand stand is marked with the cobalt blue crossed swords mark along with the number 22 in gold and stamped/ impressed with the numbers 3014 & 20 on the base. The cherub on its back is stamped/impressed with the numbers 3013 & 18 it also has the number 29 in gold and the blue crossed sword mark on its base. These marks and fine quality attests to their originality and vintage charm. Made in Germany between 1850 and 1899, these Meissen cherubs are perfect for collectors who appreciate the artistry of the past. The handstand cherub has chips to both of its wing tips. I was cleaning off some of the old glue residue on one of his wings, and a small glued in chip came out the center tip, but it fit back in snugly (see photos). Due to that, I stopped messing with the spots of glue residue on the figurines. Whatever glue they used was able to be loosened up with rubbing alcohol and removed. I will let the next owner clean them up more if desired. The headstand cherub also has residue on one of his hands. The cherub on his back has a fleabite/ rough spot on the tip of his right wing. His left wing tip has roughness/chip and has glue residue on about 30% of the end portion of the wing. This cherub also has his pinky finger chipped off his right hand with glue residue on that hand as well. Please look over photos for a better idea of the condition. Even with these condition issues, these figurines have a great presence. Will pack well so they don't receive any more damage.
