Description: This is the Unicord Ultra Bass solid state preamp from either the late 60's or 70's. Good luck finding any info online about this preamp. These are really rare. I bought it 15 years ago just to see what it sounded like and never sold it. It does one thing really well. That full 60's - 70's Ampeg B15/70's Kustom type warmth. That certain missing thump (if you know what I mean). I'm only selling it now as the studio folded. It's not tube and all solid state, but it just has that tone that sits in a mix really nice. Think Motown/Stax/Reggae/Beatles etc.
