This uniform is named to John Slezak, A career Marine, he enlisted during World War I and served until after World War II retiring as a Master Sergeant. He had extensive service in Chine and participated in he defense of Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941. I will be including a printed copy of his service records and photos from the national archives. This uniform features a rather scare set of pre WWII First Sergeant Chevrons and Service Stripes on both sleeves. The EGAs(Made in England), Ribbons and Qualification Badges(Sterling) are not “original” to the uniform, they were carefully selected to restore the uniform to be as it would have been, as the originals were missing.
