Here are some of the details. SIZE: The album measures 7-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" high by 2-1/2" thick. It has 16 heavy paper-over-board pages with photo mount(s) on each side. CONTENTS: There are 36 images (not all pages have photographs). In the size that is roughly 4-1/2" x 6-1/2", there are 3 men, 6 women, 2 family, and 1 baby. In the size that is roughly 2-1/4" x 4-3/4", there are 3 mother-and-child, 4 men, 11 women, 1 couple, 1 boy, 3 girls, and - very unusually - 1 dog. As there are several photographic studios credited on the reverse of the images, most widely separated geographically in England, this is probably a "married" album with contents from various sources. The locations of the photographers include: Devizes, Lower Clapton, Epson, Salisbury, Melksham, and Trowbridge. Probably the most interesting image is of a sporty young woman with upswept hair under a straw boater. CONDITION: The front cover is sturdy shows some wear and loss (see photographs), especially on the edges. The inside and back covers are covered in handsome gilt paper that is in good condition. The pages are generally fair to good but with some tears. The gilt on the edges of the pages is discolored in places. Some of the images are faded.
