Description: Vintage 1940s Frog on a Lily Pad Brooch Joseff of Hollywood Signed on Oval Plaque, Gold and Silver Tone 3D Frog This is a classic piece dating to the 1940s when Joseff Hollywood pieces were being used in feature films & were being flaunted by movie stars. This realistic frog has a silver tone probably once had gold gilt, it seems ready to leap off the gold lily pad. 2 1/8" x 2" x 3/8" Good Vintage Condition. There is a lot of the enamel or gilt missing the Frog is mainly a Silver tone now but the Lily pad has most of the gold. It is signed Joseff Hollywood in block letters in a Oval plaque on the back of the piece.
