I grew up with my family using these cast iron cookwares from Griswold and they are incredible. I imagine this small skillet being used for a single serving of eggs or even a large baked cookie, warm and gooey for dessert. This pan is actually in good shape for it's age and use, but if you know anything about cast iron it's that they can be restored beautifully. Some gentle care will clean up this pan to pristine condition. If you don't know how to restore a cast iron, it is always a good time to learn. There's plenty of videos and articles to guide your way. Snag this pan up before it's gone and get to cooking - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
