Description: A beautiful old, ornate 8 (eight) piece Sterling Silver master salts set consisting of: One (1) 4 3/4" diameter top master bowl with a 2 5/8" base & 1" high, Six (6) individual salts 2 1/2" diameter top with 1 1/2" base 1/2" high and One (1) 4 3/8" long spoon with a 1 5/8" wide bowl. The items have an intricate reticulated design with beaded edges. Items are marked "Sterling". The large bowl has a pattern # 402 and the individuals a # 555. Do not know who manufactured them. Box is approx. 12 1/4" x 10 1/2" x 2" and in rough shape on the outside. Finish is a dirty-looking faux white/cream leather and has a couple cracks on top. Bottom is stained. Left corner has a separation. Inside it has a light beige/eggshell liner in not too bad a shape. Liner has the name "W. E. Avery, Columbia SC" in gold letters. All sterling items are in great condition, except one of the individuals has a very tiny dent at bottom of bowl hardly noticeable. No Monograms.
