Description: Old time hanging scale says it will measure up to 60 pounds in 2 oz increments. It is a vintage American Family Scale that was patented in 1912. It does not have the tray/ trough that hangs beneath it. The face of the scale is 8.5 inches in diameter. It reads, " Not legal for use in trade." There is a dial at the top to help calibrate it, but I cannot verify any degree of accuracy. It is in very good condition.
