Description: Vintage American West HAND TOOLED Leather Shoulder Purse Handbag, 1980s This is a lovely western purse made of thick leather that features hand-tooled floral design. It is similar to saddle quality and stiff, rather than soft. The leather has been cleaned with saddle soap, conditioned, formed and polished. The color is dark brown with contrasting off-white stitching. The edges show lightening, but are polished. It is actually pretty how the leather wears. Large decorative western buckle and American West conch details. Please note the form of this heavier, stiff leather has some areas (see corners) that curve in and some distressed texture (see back).
