Made just a few years, starting in 1981. The entire cover fits securely, but lifts off for easy filling, and the triangle shaped lid over the pour spout flips backwards and lays flat on the cover. It’s made from a durable, flexible plastic like they use for trash cans and for the cases for power tools. The handles cannot come loose, they were stubborn to remove for cleaning. There are no cracks, breaks, or punctures.
