The fluffy white cats are retreating from an innocent little mouse to a branch of lilacs. The print also reads, "Entered According to Act of Congress in the year 1863 by Currier & Ives in the Clerk's Office in the District Court of the United States, for the Southern District of New York." The litho itself, including lettering, measures 12 1/2" x 15" and is matted and displayed in a later custom ebonized wood frame measuring 19" x 21 1/4". Very good condition! I do have another antique Currier & Ives lithograph, also matted and custom framed by the same frame maker, while it lasts.Thanks for stopping by.
