Description: Vintage Mid Century Modern Emerson AM Clock Radio #3IL57A. I believe this item is from the 60’s. Desired Cream Yellow in color the clock radio is in good vintage condition. The case is free of cracks. The original knobs and power cord is in good condition. The finish is nice. There is a little adhesive residue on the top that should come off with a little elbow grease or goo gone. There is a little loss to the faux chrome trim around the speaker grate. I’ve had this stored away for quite some time. When I initially plugged it in the second hand wasn’t turning. But a simple tap on the clock face cover and it started working. I ran it for about 15 minutes and no other issue with it and the clock seemed to keep accurate time. The radio also works as it should. It’s solid state so it turns right on. I live in Mt Shasta CA so I was actually quite surprised when I was able to tune in a couple of stations. That is rare. The radio does seem a little loud at the low volume setting so not sure why that is? I have not tested the alarm. I have attached a link to short YouTube video of the clock radio in operation below.
