Description: Vintage Haeberlein Metzger Lebkuchen Tin Box, German History & Architecture Scenes Lovely vintage lebkuchen tin from Haeberlein Metzger, with German building scenes decorating the tin, and (presumably) German historical figures adorning each corner of the base. Pretty blue color with pink trim and accents. Rounded corners and hinged lid. The tin looks to date to the 1960s or so. About 6 3/8” by 4 5/8” by 4” tall. CONDITION: A few small areas of wear, a few small scratches and scuffs, some handling marks and normal vintage soiling, some small and minor dents and dings, some minor early rust, etc. · Lower metal rim has some small early rust spots. · Patina in early stages inside, possibly some early rust starting at crevice. · Bottom shows a little more patina, some small rust spots. · Hinges well attached, move freely. · Opens/closes fine.
