I purchased this piece myself in 1978, plus some other Limoges miniatures, I had quite the collection of all types of miniatures, I had two big old wooden printer trays hanging on the wall full of really cool miniatures, all kinds. But that was many years ago, most are long gone now, but ran across this -put aside years ago because of the lid. I was a "miniature~collecting maniac", I absolutely loved it! Wish young people would be interested in that sort of thing these days. Watch my Ebay store, I might find some more miniatures stashed away in the closet or the attic!
