Description: On the auction block is this handsome Vintage advertising tray sign for MACK TRUCKS featuring the iconic bulldog logo front and center. The perimeter is adorned with scalloped fans and the surrounding lettering reads TRUCK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD ALLENTOWN PENNSYLVANIA. This measures 13 1/2” in diameter and the main color is black with the lithographed gold emblem and gold lettering. A magnet won’t adhere to this eliminating the possibility of being tin but totally looks like copper on the reverse side! It does have the original hanger loop! It is in good condition for its age and may polish up to a bright and shiny display but I didn’t try to alter the patina being afraid it might be best to leave it alone. You will see a few light dings but nothing too significant! I couldn’t find another one to do a cost comparison so this might be a rare gem?
