Description: Offered for your consideration this Incredible 1979 Designed by Massimo and Leila Vignelli for Casigllani "Metaphora" Coffee Table in Glass and 4 Geometric Marble Pieces. I took lots of photos and this is a Designer item so there is lots of examples online as to placement and display of this piece. as well as the history. Made in Italy. The glass top is 42' Square and 1/4" thick very heavy Approx. 75lbs. each Marble piece is Appox. 50lbs. each. There are normal signs of wear consistent with age a few scratches on the marble pieces here and there. See Photos. This is a low coffee table and stands just at 8.5" high.
