Description: What a piece of history in these pieces. Ruth Richmond, of Sarasota Florida, was a leader in bringing women to the forefront of designing and building houses. From the 1950s to the 1970s her Richmond Homes built more than 12,000 single-family homes in Southwest Florida. She used unusual door hardware, plumbing and lighting fixtures that became synonymous with the times. Today her custom-designed lucite pulls are very sought after and hard to find. Each has brass mounts. As shown in the photographs, are champagne in color. The balls are clear lucite with interior explosions of the identified color. These exquisite drawer pulls or cabinet door pulls give a true retro look. Each measures 1.5 inches deep and the ball is 1 1.8 inches in diameter. Each is in excellent used condition, no cracks, chips, or gouges.
