Vintage Rivarossi HO scale UP 8444 Dcc Fitted. 4-8-4 FEF-3 Northern

Description: Vintage Rivarossi HO scale UP 8444 Dcc Fitted. FEF-3 Northern type locomotive. This locomotive was last operated in 2021. At that time, I cleaned up the gears and the wheels/pick-ups. The drive wheels have clear Traction Tires. The smoke box door is loose. After three years, this locomotive may need to be lubricated before operating. It has been wrapped up and stored in a container for all this time. The locomotive is DCC fitted with a TCS sound decoder. The speaker is in the tender and holes have been drilled into the coal load for the sound to be heard. The mars light is painted, but the Directional Lighting on the smoke box and tender light up depending on the direction the locomotive is moving. This locomotive had only been operated on Bachman EZ track and the decoder kept detecting short circuits and the locomotive would not operate. Occasionally it would make successful laps around a 4X8 Oval. Because of this, I have not recently lubricated and tested the locomotive myself. It may have better performance success on a layout that does not use EZ track, or preform better if converted back to Analog. Reverse lever and some plastic parts near the drive wheels on both sides are superglued to the frame. Paperwork/codes for the TCS decoder will be included. I believe I programmed the locomotive number to be 844, but you can program it back to factory settings if you want a fresh start (if you choose to keep the locomotive DCC fitted). I will also include a printed instruction manual for lubrication and parts diagram.
